The best way to end family homelessness is to prevent it from happening in the first place. You can help do that with United Way’s Walk 4 Warmth, a half mile walk to raise funds for rent and utility assistance to help struggling families in Anchorage stay warm and housed this winter. More than 17,000 families in our community struggle each month to stay warm, keep a roof overhead and put a meal on the table.
