This may sound like a joke, and there certainly are better ways to set up this incredible story I have discovered, but I want to tell you how it happened because it proves that hope is everywhere even when least expected. Inspiration is out there if you are just willing to look for it.
I suffer from chronically dry eyes. Frustratingly, I often lose those tiny bottles of eye drops. So, to help make my eyes water, I'll search for YouTube videos that are sad, or motivating.
Today, I did a search for "inspiring videos." I found one that feels like it was put there just for me. Please watch and share.
On this journey of mine to better health and weight loss, this is like finding a road map left by another who has walked the path. Roger Wright, the man in this video, started out in similar shape as me and at the same age, 46. When I saw the change he'd gone through in just nine months, my jaw dropped and my heart pounded.
I have taken another small step in my own voyage. I lost another three pounds during my third week of my new healthy meal plan.
***MY GOAL IS TO DO THE FULL 110/1 DAY ROUTE OF BIKE MS, HOPE TO A CURE.***
Eventually I want to do an even longer cross country route which I'm searching for now. My sister Lisa has also suggested a European bike trip, starting in the area of Germany that we lived in back in the 80's. I want to have a picture of a skinny me on my new passport.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all of the listeners and Facebook fans who have shown me so much encouragement, and who keep me motivated to keep moving forward.
