Celebrate Alaska Flag Day, an annual event put together by AK Child & Family this Sunday! Benny Benson, the Alaska flag designer, was a resident with AK Child & Family. He designed the flag at age 13 and Alaska's flag is the only flag in the nation to be designed by a child. There will be a BBQ, games for kids, the Mayor scooping ice-cream! Plus music by the Nervis Rex and the Alaska Children's Choir. Entry fee for a family is $20, $5 for individuals.
