BE A FAN! Athletes are gearing up to ski, skate, snowboard, run and score at the 2018 Special Olympics Alaska Winter Games. Experience the joy and excitement of the Special Olympic Athletes as they compete with more than 300 athletes, coaches and volunteers from Anchorage, Ketchikan, Mat-Su Valley, Tanana Valley and Valdez. Opening Ceremony at East High School Friday at 6:30 pm. Closing Ceremony at the Alaska Airlines Center on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Closing Ceremony will coincide with the Celebration of Life for the late President/CEO of Special Olympics Alaska, Jim Balamaci.
