Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Hope To Get Pregnant Again By 2020

The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex Pose With Their Newborn Son

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly ready to expand their family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hope to be expecting baby number two by 2020, according to an Us Weekly source. Despite their busy schedules, “their family is their No. 1 priority,” the insider added.

Meghan and Harry have both been open about their desire to have more children. Harry's even been asking people for advice on raising two kiddos recently, which definitely caught the attention of royal watchers. Earlier this month, the Sussexes paid a visit to an Army wives event that honors families of deployed servicemen and servicewomen. Harry spoke to one of the moms about life two children while there. Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children. And we were trying to encourage him to have a second baby," Susie Stringfellow revealed.

According to the British betting platform bookmakers.tv, the odds that Meghan and Harry will announce a second pregnancy before the end of the year dropped dramatically in the past few days. The odds went from 4/6 to 1/5, which means the confidence in that particular bet is pretty high right now. "The odds of Meghan and Harry sharing some good news soon have taken another plunge," reads a statement from the site. "The latest betting definitely suggests there could be an announcement around the corner and when it comes bookies should brace themselves for another royal betting frenzy."

When such a dramatic shift happens, such as with Meghan and Harry's potential pregnancy, it's likely an insider has spilled some tea. “It sets off alarm bells that maybe there has been information leaked from the palace, and so the public followed the money,” Nicola McGeady, a spokesperson for the bookmaker Coral, explained.

Meghan and Harry are about to take a six week sabbatical from their royal duties, as well as traveling to the United States to visit Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, in Los Angeles for the holidays. This likely means there won't be an announcement just yet if the bookies' predictions prove true. We'll just have to wait and see if Archie is getting a little brother or sister some time in 2020.
