Google Maps is still too washed out to be read by me in any reasonable detail, but a reply to my CALL FOR HELP has led me to a compromise I can use. This MENU DROP DOWN didn't lead me to any setting changes...
But it did FREEZE AND DARKEN the map, bringing out the rich, identifiable detail that I enjoyed back in the glory days of Google Maps when people there though, "Hey... maybe a MAP should be READABLE. People might like that."
Okay, so I can't move or zoom when the menu is dropped down, BUT AT LEAST I CAN SEE ROADS ON A MAP!!
Look at what you made me do, Google Maps-- you made me use ALL CAPS!
Please help me find a permanent setting change or patch that helps me darken the background of Google Maps. REPLY IF YOU CAN HELP. And if this washed-out map problem is bothering you as well, click the picture for the info on reporting errors. THANK YOU! ~Brian
