World speaking to Brian: "GOOOOD MORNING! Hey, before you have your first cup of coffee, why not have A COLLISION with your own garage door? "
Yeah... thanks world. That woke me up way faster than caffeine.
EXPLANATION: I have been keeping my garage door opener in my jacket pocket because on extremely cold days, the door pad has difficulty working. But I think my seat belt pressed the button a couple times as I put it on and adjusted. So the door came down part way. I didn't see it in my mirrors.
MINE IS A CAUTIONARY TALE: I had to drive to work with this and now snow is getting into my car until I can go to my 10:30 glass appointment. I have a canvas in the back, but no way to really fix it in place that I can determine. Besides, I had to get into work to do those traffic reports. So... CHECK YOUR GARAGE DOOR when backing out. Make sure it's up all the way. At least my garage door seemed okay.
Learn from my mistake, and it will make me feel a little better. ~Brian
