This photo says it all!!
Thanks to You First & the Ideal Protein Protocol, I can easily do what I used to dread. I can now travel on airplanes in comfort with seatbelt to spare!
I'll admit, the only struggle I had was not breaking down into tears when I conquered each part of the journey. I really did have to hold them back.
Last weekend, I traveled to Seattle with my health coach at You First, Dylan Webb, for an Ideal Protein "Super Weekend" coaches' conference. I am in training to become a health coach so that I can aid others in achieving the weight loss & health success I've experienced (151 pounds lost--now learning to maintain it).
As I traveled, I made a mental list of the things I can do now which used to be impossible or a struggle as I ballooned to 313 pounds. Here's a photo gallery and that list. Perhaps you have experienced some of the same challenges.
MY AIRPLANE WIN-LIST!
I fit in the seatbelt. No tight belt digging into a big belly. No need for an extension.
I fit between the armrests with inches to spare.
I could breathe easily as I sat for hours on the plane.
I don't think I snored when I dozed off (I hope not, anyway).
Nobody gave me THAT LOOK of disgust, hoping I wouldn't get the seat next to them.
I walked from the lot through the terminal without huffing & puffing or needing a breather.
I carried my own garment bag-no problem.
I wasn't sweating from my efforts by the time I reached the plane.
My legs were comfortable-- no water retention made worse by altitude.
When I took my shoes off on the plane, it was easy to get them, put them on, and tie them. No struggles with that medicine ball-sized gut below!
