This photo says it all!!

Thanks to You First & the Ideal Protein Protocol, I can easily do what I used to dread.  I can now  travel on airplanes in comfort with seatbelt to spare!

I'll admit, the only struggle I had was not breaking down into tears when I conquered each part of the journey.  I really did have to hold them back.

Last weekend, I traveled to Seattle with my health coach at You First, Dylan Webb, for an Ideal Protein  "Super Weekend" coaches' conference.  I am in training to become a health coach so that I can aid  others in achieving the weight loss & health success I've experienced (151 pounds lost--now learning to maintain it).

As I traveled, I made a mental list of the things I can do now which used to be impossible or a struggle as I ballooned to 313 pounds.  Here's a photo gallery and that list.  Perhaps you have experienced some of the same challenges.

(NSV's--Non-Scale Victories)

  • I fit in the seatbelt.  No tight belt digging into a big belly. No need for an extension.

  • I fit between the armrests with inches to spare.

  • I could breathe easily as I sat for hours on the plane.

  • I don't think I snored when I dozed off (I hope not, anyway).

  • Nobody gave me THAT LOOK of disgust, hoping I wouldn't get the seat next to them.

  • I walked from the lot through the terminal without huffing & puffing or needing a breather.

  • I carried my own garment bag-no problem.

  • I wasn't sweating from my efforts by the time I reached the plane.

  • My legs were comfortable-- no water retention made worse by altitude.

  • When I took my shoes off on the plane, it was easy to get them, put them on, and tie them.  No struggles with that  medicine ball-sized gut below!

Remember, every pound tells a story. These are mine. What are yours?

What will you tell your friends and loved ones about the struggles you overcame after losing the weight and learning how to keep it off?  I want to help you tell those stories, because if I can lose 151 pounds, why not you?  We each have our gifts, but losing weight is NOT one of mine-- I'm not special!  I got help from the people that knew how to help me-- You First, and the Ideal Protein Protocol.

Now, not only have I lost the weight, I'm learning how to go forward maintaining my healthy lifestyle.  After all, I was gaining weight and being obese for 20 years-- my journey doesn't end after losing the last pound.  The Ideal Protein Protocol still teaches me and guides my choices.

I have to learn what food is, and how to deal with it so that I control food and food does not control me.  I have suffered long and have finally regained my life... I want to LIVE IT!!  And I want this for you too!

Please join me & Dylan.  Learn about my journey and the Ideal Protein protocol for weight loss & and lifestyle maintenance.  I hope to see you there.  ~Brian
