Arctic Comic Con Day 2 was as much fun as Day 1 and I took even more photos. Please share this link if you spot any of your friend-cosplayers in them, and tag them in the posts on Social Media.
Sam Jones of "Flash Gordon" (a movie I watched a zillion times) was signing autographs and chatting with fans. Here's the Facebook Live interview!
Now see some brilliant & fun cosplay costumes and face painting as I strutted the floor as Indiana Jones with fellow fans of scifi and fantasy.
And here is a face painting photo gallery of my friend & cosplay partner Gracy Larson. She dressed as "Death" from the Deadpool comic and got her face painted at the convention by Rae's Girls. It took about an hour.
I had a great time at Arctic Comic Con, and probably spent more money than I should. But at least my Indiana Jones costume was not bad and made 'on the cheap.' It probably cost me no more than $200 over 2 or 3 months of piecing it together from thrift stores and discount racks.
Thanks also to my friend Robb for loaning me the authentic 1930's gas mask case which is what Indiana Jones used as his shoulder bag.So, what should I be next? Suggestions? Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for loggin' where I'm bloggin'. ~Brian
