New Year-New You!  

I used to think that was a tired cliche after years of New Year resolutions to lose weight.  That was... until I found You First and started on my weight loss journey with Ideal Protein.

WHAT I LOST:

By the numbers:
151 pounds-- in about 11 months
2 prescriptions-- testosterone injections, and doctor prescribed compression socks for water retention because I hated the water pills.
31 heartbeats-- My resting heart rate went down from 84 to 53 beats per minute, meaning less stress on my heart.

2 BIG EXCUSES-- My two biggest 'reasons' why I couldn't lose weight were my age (I turned 50 in the middle of my weight loss) and my genes.  But I followed the Ideal Protein Protocol, guided by my health coach, Dylan Webb, and the pounds came off week after week.

WHAT I GAINED!!  

The ability to ride my bike again!  I pedalled like never before after my weight loss, training and then completing one 'century ride' (100 miles) and two 'metric century rides' (100 kilometers) for charity in 2018.

STRESS FREE AIRLINE TRAVEL! 
No worrying about fitting between the arm rests or if the seat belt will fasten. Look at that EXTRA BELT!  And no more getting exhausted walking through airline terminals.

MY HEALTH!  Forget the '10-year challenge.'  Check out how I've done with a 30-year challenge.  I feel so much younger and more energetic after shedding that weight.
