Weather Pattern Picked up on Radar. Wait....Those Aren't Clouds!!!

Tuesday night in San Diego, workers at the National Weather Service detected what looked like rain on the radar. However there were no clouds. They reached out to weather spotters in the area and someone replied with "Ladybugs!" A massive cloud of ladybugs, called a bloom, 10 miles wide and 15 miles long, flying around above 5,000 feet elevation. That's a lot of freaking lady bugs and I'm sure we all agree if it were ANY other kind of bug on this planet we'd be hearing the screams of residents still. So yay for the sweet little ladybugs who help keep the aphids off our beloved roses.
